Dear Sir

If I did not answer your letter before, I have not been unmindful of its contents. The inclosed is in answer to my communication of your wishes. I thought it better to put you to the expence of a double letter than to make any delay. The Writer the Revd. Mr. Dunn is one of the first Men I know for talents character and a piety the most sublime. He is the d[tear] friend and Rector of the Parish, of the excellent La Touche’s of Bellevüe of whose fame you cannot be ignorant after your Visit to Ireland. Had you been in Orders Mr. Dunn would have wished to engage you permanently as assistant in his Church as well as Tutor to his only and darling son, a little boy of much promise. The Society you would find is of the very first order. If you accede to Mr. Dunn’s proposal, I would advise you to write to him the very first post yourself as you will be now Master of the Subject

In any event write to me immediately, as I cannot answer him till I hear from you. I hope all is going on well. Dont overwork yourself for this examination.

May God bless and direct you as well in your Studies as in all your undertakings. A great Missionary Meeting at Bristol – above £800 collected
Yours sincerely H More

Direct to the Revd James Dunn Delgany, Bray Ireland
